Bushra Stud shines at National Agricultural Show.

Local stud breeder, Bushra Stud, has made yet another impressive mark at the National Agricultural Show. Following a series if successes at District Agricultural Shows across Botswana this year, Bushra Stud made a historic clean sweep, taking every Champions Class prize they were eligible for. The Show was held from 20th August to 25th August 2018 at the Sebele Showgrounds in Gaborone.

Kala walked away with all Champion Class prizes, including the most coveted title of Grand Champion of the Yard. Judges this year for goats in the small stock classes included Koenie Kotze, Theuns Botha, Bertie Aucamp and Johnny Henderson. Accolades from this year’s show include:

“It has been an incredible year for us at the Show, and we are truly pleased with the results. This is months of hard work paying off, with preparation having begun well over four months before the show itself. Our incredible team have dedicated themselves towards a stellar finish, and we are proud and humbled to have achieved our target in that sense,” said Bushra Stud owner, Faheem Kala.

Bushra Stud, based in Gakuto, is a registered stud breeder of Kalahari Red and Boer Goat breeds.
