The Opening Bell Ceremony is a globally-recognised event involving stock exchanges around the world. It serves as a platform to signify the beginning of trading at the start of each day. Over and above the aforementioned, the opening bell avails an opportunity for the Exchange or listed entities to make news announcements or celebrate corporate milestones. This ceremonious event will also aim to create awareness about the development of our local capital markets as we strive to become a world-class securities exchange.

For the 2nd Opening Bell Ceremony, His Honour, the Vice President of the Republic of Botswana, Slumber Tsogwane, will officiate and deliver the Official Remarks on the day. Members of the media are invited to attend this event.
