Molapo Eats To Host An All Local X-Mas Shopping Experience

Culinary market Molapo Eats will on December 1st host a vibrant variety of local businesses just in time to kick off the December shopping spree, at the Stanbic Bank Piazza in Gaborone. The market, which happens every first Sunday of the month, facilitates a great atmosphere that gathers local entrepreneurs under one roof for people to come buy fresh produce, beauty products, jewellery, creative goods and much more.

“This Christmas special edition of the market has a focus on creating buzz around local products. We want to make sure Batswana have a wonderful all local shopping experience and to gift their loved ones with a great variety of products by local entrepreneurs. It is a family-oriented affair where they will get value for money, and we want to shed a spotlight on the quality products and culinary talent we have in Botswana,” says event coordinator Lefika Bantsi.

The market will feature entrepreneurs such as Fragrans Perfumers who locally manufacture scents for men and women, local DJs, food courts and a kids entertainment corner for the little ones.

“In the spirit of Christmas, we are looking forward to this market that will host a colourful, diverse range of products. This market is a celebration of local entrepreneurial talent and we are thrilled to grow this initiative here at Molapo Crossing,” said Luc Vandecasteele, Molapo Crossing Managing Director.
