Orange Botswana spreads the love this Valentine’s Day

This Valentine’s Day, the colour of love is Orange. Orange Botswana took to the airwaves to make magic happen for a few lucky couples keen to get into the lovey-dovey spirit. The brand encouraged young lovers to call in live on radio and declare messages for their sweethearts, with Orange Botswana then sharing romantic experiential gifts in return.

Orange Botswana Communication Manager, Lame Madiba said February is the month of love, and people are motivated to do something extra-special for their loved ones.

“We wanted to be a part of the lovefest, and to show our customers and non-customers alike that we sincerely care about them. Our customers are important to us, they are family and friends,” Madiba said. “It warms our hearts to know that we put a smile on someone’s face today. We are happy to have been involved in this way this year and we hope to do something similar next year, but bigger and better.”

Eight couples walked away with gifts ranging from spa vouchers for two, to romantic dinners at some of Botswana’s leading dining establishments, all courtesy of Orange Botswana. This was in an effort to spread the love for callers and those that matter to them most.

“This Valentine’s Day, we celebrate love. It is not only about our significant others, but all others who remain special to us in our lives. Thus, the colour of love is Orange, and we encourage all to get into the spirit of things, and enjoy the light-hearted aura of the day! With love from Orange Botswana!” said Madiba.
