In May 2019, Mascom solidified its leadership position in the market with the introduction of MySurf, Botswana’s first TRIPLE play home and business broadband offer. Mascom MySurf combines internet access, entertainment and voice services for home and business.
The service has been well received and the offers continue to bring convenience and joy to our customers in the home and office market as seen by the demand for this product. MySurf usage is driven by the need to have reliable connectivity both for the office, working from home or online studies.
“Mascom is pleased to announce exciting enhancements to the MySurf offers which are designed to give our customers more value for money as well as better user experience.” Some of the key enhancements elements are:
– The new entry level package, MySurf Bronze, offers a maximum download speed of 4Mpbs at only P395 per month and replaces the current MySurf Instant offer which offers a maximum download speed of 2Mpbs at P375
– MySurf Silver is a new offering which offers a maximum download speed of 6Mbps at only P595 per month and replaces the current MySurf 5Mbps Ultra package which is priced at P595.
The offers are effective from 2nd August 2021.

Customers with active subscriptions to any of the current MySurf offers are reassured that their current services will not be interrupted nor affected. Post-paid customers also have the option to change their current packages to the new offers.
The enhancements to our MySurf offers are supported by ongoing network developments and upgrades across the country. Amongst the network initiatives earmarked for 2021, Mascom is deploying an additional 120 4G sites as well 160 new 4.5G sites which are aimed at capacity enhancement to reduce network congestion.
A key milestone in our 2021 network plan is the provision of coverage to Matsiloje Central and the launch of 4G in Hukuntsi.
